Prompt 43-Accomplishment

What have you been able to accomplish this year that you are really proud of?

Gonna do this one a little differently tonight since I’m coming up empty on the creative juices again. Instead of a story about a personal accomplishment or creating a new character to tell a story of their accomplishment, I’m just going to make a list of potential accomplishments a character might be proud of. That totally counts as writing. Especially if it sparks something for later.

Going back to school
Graduating top of the class
Buying a house
Building a house
Building a treehouse
Living on your own for the first time
Living abroad
Traveling somewhere new
Learning a new language
Earning a promotion
Starting a business
Starting a family
Reading copious amounts of books
Writing a novel
Filming a movie
Painting a masterpiece
Finishing a really big puzzle
Getting sober
Reaching your ideal weight
Patching up rocky relationships
Cutting unhealthy relationships
Forging new relationships
Going on an adventure
Saving the world from evil
Learning new skills
Defeating your rival/arch nemesis

Notes: There were a couple I thought about turning into a story, but couldn’t get anything going. Maybe you’ll have better luck than I did. There are so many ways this could go and the list goes on and on. A lot can happen in a year after all.

Thursday’s prompt: Do you have a tattoo? What is it and why did you get it? If not, would you ever get one? What would the tattoo be, and what would it symbolize to you?

Ooh I’ve always wanted to do a tattoo prompt. This should be a fun one! Until tomorrow!
