Evening folks. I’m having some health issues tonight so I’m not going to write the usual wordy update post. Hoping it’s just something I ate and not a harbinger of a lengthy illness and a good night’s sleep fixes me right up. Here are the prompts for the week so you can get started.
346. What does your music taste say about you?
347. Have you ever been betrayed and if so how?
348. Do you have a love/hate relationship with someone or something, if so explain?
349. Do you feel like there’s a void in your life and if so what could be causing it?
350. What is the best thing you could do for yourself right now?
Also, if you’re on Twitter, check out the #vss365 hashtag for other daily prompts. The catch is that the story has to fit in a tweet, so 280 characters or less. (Well, 273 characters or less, since the hashtag takes up the first 7.) Works out to about 45-50 words.
This month’s host is Bert Edens and he is dishing out prompts with a basis in horror in honor of Spooky Month. So far we’ve had “night,” “murder,” “blood,” “organ,” “away,” and “demon” for prompts. I’ve had quite a bit of fun with them myself. For more information, check out this handy blog with an FAQ. It also curates every day’s prompt so if you miss a day or want to try a different prompt, you can scroll back through to see what you missed.
Again, I apologize for not feeling well enough to write a more exciting post. I’m really bummed because I was super stoked to talk about the awesome milestone I hit last week. 200k words! But I guess I’ll save it for a future post. For now, I need to go to bed. Hopefully my head and stomach let me sleep.
I hope your weekend was relaxing and full of all the things you like! Let’s face the new week fresh! See you tomorrow!
